Women’s Hearth receives $800 grant from Assistants

Women’s Hearth received an $800 grant from Assistants. This funding will support the computer lab at the Hearth, in the purchasing of a refurbished workstation and some staff hours to oversee the lab.

Hearth participants often have a hard time accessing IT without some support (forgotten passwords, lack of experience with technology, lack of confidence). They often tell us that online resources and social support are one of the most effective tools for maintaining recovery. The computer lab is truly a lifeline service that the Hearth offers, and we are looking forward to reopening it soon.

Thank you Assistants!
