Mardi Bras

Fight Poverty and Homelessness

There are more than 1,800 women experiencing homelessness in Spokane each day. Meeting their basic needs can be a struggle for Hope House, a program of Volunteers of America, and Transitions’ Women’s Hearth. Imagine not having access to bras, underwear and personal hygiene items due to poverty and homelessness. Spokane Mardi Bras aims to change that.

How can you help?

Host: Have an online Mardi Bras party and invite friends to join virtually. Create your own fundraiser and learn more on our JustGiving campaign page here

Donate: Invest and make an impact for women experiencing homelessness. Most needed items include bras, bus passes, deodorant, socks, tampons, and underwear.

Drop off: Drive thru and drop off your collected items on Saturday, February 20th, 10am-2pm. Location TBA
