There are more than 1,800 women experiencing homelessness in Spokane each day. Meeting their basic needs can be a struggle for Hope House, a program of Volunteers of America, and Transitions’ Women’s Hearth. Imagine not having access to bras, underwear and personal hygiene items due to poverty and homelessness. Mardi Bras aims to change that as a fundraiser for both Transitions and VOA. Please help us meet the basic needs of women experiencing homelessness at Hope House and Women’s Hearth.

Mardi Bras 2022 was a success! Thank you to everyone who donated and we will see you in February 2023 as we celebrate all month long!

How can you help?

  • Host: Have an online Mardi Bras party and invite friends to join virtually. Fat Tuesday is February 21st!
  • Donate: Invest and make an impact for women experiencing homelessness. Most needed items include bus passes, bras, deodorant, socks, tampons, and underwear. Feel free to shop from our Amazon wish list.
  • Drop off: Drive thru and drop off your collected items on Friday, March 3rd, from 2-4pm at the new Hope House (318 South Adams). Details coming soon!
