There currently exists one Full-Time (40 hrs/week) Case Manager opening at The Women’s Hearth. In keeping with Transitions’ mission and core values, the Case Manager at Women’s Hearth comes alongside women experiencing poverty and/or homeless to provide supportive services and access to resources.

New Leaf Kitchen & Café recently received a $25,000 grant from US Bank. This will support program operations for the trauma-informed, free culinary job training program, designed to help low-income individuals with barriers to traditional employment gain the professional skills and confidence necessary for economic self-sufficiency.
Agency-wide job readiness support is also provided. Participants work with our Vocational Specialist to help them create a resume, practice interview skills, and become prepared for entering a professional work environment. In 2022, 22 adults enrolled in the 2 job training programs with 5 graduates obtaining employment after completion.
The Transitional Living Center (TLC) recently received a $15,000 grant from the Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa. This will support program operations for the transitional housing program with supportive services for women and children experiencing homelessness, in order to create stability in their lives
In 2022, 16 families with 35 children lived at TLC, and 8 of those families obtained more permanent housing.
