If you love photography there will always be an opportunity to shoot events or portraits. Upcoming opportunities include Thanksgiving celebrations and Christmas photos with our visiting Santa.

Gardening:  (sign up now for Spring)

Get your hands dirty at Transitions' Growing Hope Community Garden. Watering, planting, building...whatever you like to do there is a place for you!

Play Time at EduCare:

Help support the moms at the Transitional Living Center on Mondays from 5-7 p.m. by playing with their kiddos! It you miss playgrounds or love children you'll definitely want to volunteer here!

Job Coaching:

If you'd like to contribute your job-searching knowledge to women getting back on their feet, this is a great opportunity for you. Whether it's job searching, interviewing or resume building your skills would be a great asset.

Cooking, anyone?:

As part of the program at Miryam's House, women take turns cooking for each other every weekday as they learn to be a part of a family--maybe for the first time in their lives. Meal planning, cooking techniques and cooking healthy meals can sometimes be a struggle. That's where you come in! If you love cooking, you could mentor a woman (once a week, every other week--up to you!) by cooking and helping her learn more skills in the kitchen.

If you have a large group, skill or idea you'd like to volunteer, let us know and we will work together to contribute your skills in the fight against homelessness and poverty.

You can email your volunteer application, located at the top of the page, to Mary at mtracey@help4women.org or call 509-328-6702 to discuss your ideas, interests and further opportunities.
